Your text
Everything you type or paste is counted and changed by your own browser. It is never sent to us or anyone else, and never stored on a server.
So you can switch between tools without pasting again, your text is kept in this browser tab’s session storage. Only this tab can read it, it isn’t in the page address, and your browser deletes it when you close the tab. The Clear button removes it straight away. A tool’s settings (such as the case you chose) are in the page address, so you can bookmark them; your text never is.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect against abuse, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and measure how fast pages load. It records things like the page you visited, the site that referred you, your browser and device type, your country, and page-load timings. According to Cloudflare, it sets no cookies and doesn't track you across websites. It never sees your text.
Cookies and advertising
The site currently sets no cookies and shows no advertising. If that changes, this policy will be updated before it does, and where the law requires it we'll ask for your consent.
If you email hello@textanvil.com, your message and address are used only to reply to you.
